Let customers speak for us
from 550 reviewsI ordered several items from Peerless and so far my favorite has been “The Sidekick”. I bring it with me wherever I go. Especially great for traveling. I love the bright colors! Everything I paint just pops!
These pigments are wonderfully saturated, strong and very portable. A water brush or paint brush and water are all that’s needed to create so they are brilliant for on the go painting or tinting. As with any new product they took me a little while to get used to but the learning curve is similar to other water based materials.
I absolutely love the mystery liquid watercolor. The quality exceeded my expectations. I hope the come out with a line of liquid watercolor soon in every color of the rainbow 🌈. I would rather this brand over some of the other big names. This company is a pleasure to do business with. I love supporting this small business.
I’ve worked for an art supply store and been a painter for decades. These are the most stunning watercolors ever. A little goes a very long way!!!!!!!
I love the range and richness of the colors but a few of the pages were stuck to paint strips and when pried apart left clumps of white paper on the paint strips. This also made the backing of pages that were stuck to paint strips very thin. An unfortunate mishap on an otherwise wonderful product, especially as the most affected paint strip is one of my favorite colors.
If I compare all my color charts I make of all my different watercolor. Peerless definitely stands out. whether it's the liquid ones or the different colors on papers. I even have some dating back from 30 years that I used on B&W photos ! So if you haven't tried them yet, It's definitely worth the try !
I have not used watercolors for ages. I was introduced to Nicholson’s Peerless Watercolors in a Yupo Printmaking workshop. The colors perform magic when left to dry on the non-absorbent Yupo paper and their magic is then transferred to wet paper through the etching press. One has to see it to fully appreciate! I purchased the Sidekick for a huge palette and for mobility.
I was delighted with the mystery box of watercolors that I received! While I have a stash of them already, these were all new to me!
I absolutely love these Peerless Liquid Watercolors. The colors are so bright, and intense, and a little goes a very long way! As soon as I saw the availability of a "Mystery Box", I grabbed it! I have a number of Peerless Watercolors, both liquid and dry, and I love them all. Thank you for a marvelous product!
I ordered 2 mystery boxes hoping I wouldn't get duplicate colors and I didn't. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. I got them at work and immediately opened the box and started to play with them. I can't wait to get them home to play some more! Thank you and I hope you continue to make beautiful paints.
I love love love Peerless Watercolors. I love the liquids because I think they go farther, at least for me. I already have a few and I was lucky enough to only get one that I already have, and I don’t mind cause if I already had it, it’s one of my favs! The sale price made it irresistible!
I think your liquid watercolor inks are simply OUTSTANDING. Peerless watercolor paper was my FIRST intro to watercoloring. I love the fact NOW I can get liquid. (which I have a set). Thanks so much for such a great product Dalton.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this mystery box, but I love the watercolors that were included. I realize each box may vary, but I was pleased that at least two of the three watercolors were shimmery colors. Vibrant and beautiful!
I love the palette. It's cute. I really like having both smaller spots and larger spots for mixing. It suits me fine.
I enjoy the paints. They are very vivid and quite staining. I cut pieces of the colors and place them with tape into a folder with a piece of wax paper between the pages the size of my current journal. Then I have them at the ready for painting in my journal.
Sidekick. I'm not disappointed with the Sidekick, it's fine. But one suggestion I have is that you make it with tabs. You could even number the tabs or give them names. I have to flip all the way through usually until I fine the color I want. I had to place a piece of wax paper between them when moving between the colors or the pages stick together because they are wet. Maybe you could put some kind of sheet of nonstick paper between then? After my wax paper addition, I feel good to take them traveling.
I'm no artist, but some of my friends use this product and it was very enticing. I ordered a set of my own and love it! My only issue is sometimes the colors get stuck to the backing of the next page but it's okay.
